Polixis SA is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Java) to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will work independently to deliver production-ready, high-quality code with minimal issues.
Responsibilities
- Code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.
- Implement and maintain microservices architectures that are scalable, reliable, and efficient.
- Optimize application performance, focusing on speed and scalability.
- Build enterprise-grade systems using AI-accelerated development workflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on time, ensuring the stability and reliability of backend systems.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our systems and mentor junior/mid-level developers.
