Senior Software Engineer, Datacenter Modeling

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain software systems that combine hardware, software, workload, and deployment assumptions to evaluate data center-level power, TCO, and performance trade-offs.
• Contribute to software design decisions by prototyping and evaluating solutions and incorporating feedback from stakeholders.
• Strengthen engineering quality through effective testing, regression coverage, and operational practices.
• Collaborate across teams to define clear interfaces and enable efficient development.
• Make hands-on contributions to complex technical problems, help diagnose, and resolve issues.
• Participate in building and code reviews, share knowledge, and help teammates adopt effective software and engineering practices.
• What we need to see
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience. An MS or PhD is preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in Python or other modern programming languages.
• Experience developing and maintaining technical software systems with strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
