Software-Architect / System-Designer (100% Remote)

Responsibilities

• Own the system design – you decide how data is modeled, where state lives, how components talk to each other, and how the whole system behaves under load
• Make the hard, hard-to-reverse design decisions early – and reason explicitly about the trade-offs behind them
• Design and own our data layer from the ground up for new features – tables and relationships, indexing strategy, and query/load optimization that holds up as data and traffic grow
• Design queues, background jobs and long-running workflows that stay correct and reliable under heavy load and partial failure
• Contribute to architecture decisions, the direction of our stack, and the overall product vision
• Operate in an AI-first development setup powered by Claude/Cursor
