Responsibilities

Technical support for users of the laboratory complex
Setting up and connecting workstations and equipment (PCs, terminals, office equipment, phones)
Assisting IT staff with diagnosing and configuring equipment (network hardware, access control systems, IP cameras)
Bringing up the laboratory's IT infrastructure, together with colleagues at head office
Helping connect laboratory equipment and working with neighbouring departments to configure laboratory software
Promptly reporting problems that affect the IT infrastructure (site-wide network failures, power outages and the like).
