Mechanical Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Fixture & Jig
• Support — Maintenance, and continuous improvement of production testing setups, jigs, mechanical enclosures, and assembly tooling. Ensure compatibility, standardization, and seamless integration of jigs across multiple product lines and CM sites.
• Maintenance & Calibration Governance —
• Own and enforce maintenance/calibration processes across all products and contract manufacturing locations. Author process documentation.
• Lead quarterly maintenance audits at CM facilities.
• Drive calibration frequency reduction initiatives.
• Equipment Limit Management — Perform data-driven analysis of test equipment limits (mating cycles, cable wear). Recommend and approve limit extensions based on engineering data and risk assessment.
• NPI Mechanical
• Support — Escort new products through mechanical readiness achievements — from prototype through V&V station approval to large-scale manufacturing.
• Support station duplication and mechanical training for CM technicians.
