Senior Program Manager, Enterprise Technology and AI

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program management for large-scale or high-complexity Enterprise Technology & AI initiatives, including scope definition, roadmap development, resource planning, and delivery tracking
• Define and communicate clear success metrics for each program, reporting status and risk to Enterprise Technology & AI leadership on a regular cadence, and escalating issues with recommended paths forward
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of underlying problems, desired outcomes, and solution trade-offs
• Drive cross-functional alignment by facilitating decision-making, resolving dependencies, and maintaining momentum across distributed teams
• Recommend and implement improvements to program governance frameworks, intake processes, and ways of working across the CIO org
• Translate complex technical and business requirements into clear, actionable work plans accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Anticipate risks and interdependencies across the portfolio, proactively mitigating blockers before they impact delivery
• Model GitLab values and remote work best practices, contributing to a high-trust, async-first team culture
