We are building a team around a Senior Software Engineer, Java Cloud (AWS) to create secure, scalable Java web services in a cloud-first environment. You will work with multiple disciplines, deliver RESTful APIs, and improve reliability and performance using proven engineering practices.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support scalable, high-performance Java web services
Coordinate with front-end developers to ensure seamless web service integration in web applications
Build RESTful APIs that ensure smooth communication between client-side and server-side applications
Maintain robustness, reliability, and security of web services through best practices and standards
Improve performance and scalability through caching, load balancing, and database optimization
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions
Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and uphold coding standards
Stay informed on the latest Java and web services technologies and trends
