We are seeking an experienced Senior Linux Engineer to join our team and take ownership of our critical Linux and AIX infrastructure. In this role, you will manage complex enterprise environments, drive automation initiatives, and provide technical leadership while working with a modern technology stack centered around Linux administration and networking.
Responsibilities
- Manage, upgrade, and patch critical Linux services and infrastructure
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members
- Participate in automation initiatives and infrastructure standardization
- Perform advanced administration of Oracle Linux, RHEL, and IBM AIX
- Troubleshoot complex Linux, Unix, storage, and virtualization issues
- Administer IBM Power Systems and perform storage provisioning and complex storage changes
- Analyze Linux, AIX, VMware, and storage performance
- Execute server, platform, and storage migrations, including firmware and platform upgrades
- Develop and maintain Ansible AWX automation
- Administer VMware vSphere, Zabbix, PRTG, and Foreman
