Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maybe you call yourself a Senior Data Engineer or an Azure wrangler, a Databricks whisperer, a senior "works-on-my-cluster" engineer… or maybe you just call yourself Sam. Whatever you call yourself, you'll join our Delivery team and build the data platforms our clients actually run on, the pipelines and models behind the moment a client leans forward and says "wait, show me that again."
• All Your BI is a remote-first data agency based in Rotterdam. Since 2019 we've grown from a boutique consultancy into an international data team of more than 60 data heroes spread across Europe. We deliver managed BI services for logistics and industrial companies, helping reduce data waste and move businesses forward. We live for the WOW moment, that sparkle in users' eyes when they gain new insights and discover opportunities.
• Build and own the Azure data platforms our client accounts run on, SQL Server, Databricks, pipelines end to end.
• Design the data models that keep it all maintainable, and Kimball dimensional modelling, where it earns its place.
• Challenge a requirement when it doesn't add up, and bring a better option. We'd rather you push back than build the wrong thing well.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer, designing, building, and maintaining scalable, reliable data platforms and pipelines in production environments.
• Azure data engineering: hands-on across the Azure stack, including SQL Server and Databricks. You build platforms, not just wire them together.
