We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our team and support our chapters and pods in taking our platform to the cloud. We are a team of dedicated professionals, aiming to build out our next-generation platform to solve complex enterprise-wide problems, with the cloud data store serving as a key enabler in our cloud journey.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a large-scale, global post-trading system with direct business impact
- Design and implement scalable solutions using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
- Build and optimize data persistence layers leveraging Hibernate and a large Oracle Database
- Contribute to the transformation of the existing system into cloud-hosted microservices
- Integrate messaging and event-driven components using Kafka
- Collaborate with chapters and pods to deliver next-generation platform capabilities
- Ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of a business-critical application
- Participate in architectural discussions to shape the new infrastructure within the domain
- Perform code reviews and promote engineering best practices across the team
