A monolithic fintech project undergoing code optimization and the gradual extraction of services into a distributed (microservices) architecture, guided by performance measurements and analysis. Tech Stack: Python, Django, Django REST Framework (DRF), PostgreSQL, Redis Sentinel, Celery, Kafka.
Responsibilities
- Development and maintenance of backend applications using Django / Django REST Framework (DRF).
- Refactoring the monolith and gradually extracting services as part of the architectural migration.
- Building reusable integration frameworks for partner and payment provider APIs, with unified webhook processing.
- Optimizing PostgreSQL queries and handling concurrent access and high-load scenarios.
- Writing and maintaining automated tests, participating in code reviews.
- Investigating incidents using logs and metrics, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
