Auto Gallery’s Energy Department is looking for a Technical Service Engineer – Battery Systems & EVs (DC Focus) to support the diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of battery energy storage systems and electric vehicle battery systems. This is a hands-on technical role focused on high-voltage DC systems, battery electronics, diagnostics, and thermal management.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and component-level repair for utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and electric vehicle battery packs.
- Monitor battery degradation, cell balancing, and liquid-cooling thermal management systems.
- Troubleshoot DC circuit faults and Battery Management System (BMS) errors using oscilloscopes and precision diagnostic tools.
- Perform battery extraction and related service operations using heavy-duty automotive hoist lifts.
- Identify and resolve battery system faults while following established technical and safety procedures.
- Strictly follow high-voltage safety procedures and PPE requirements during all active maintenance and repair operations.
