Director, Software Dev Engineer

Responsibilities

• As Director of Software Development Engineering, you will lead the engineering organization responsible for building and scaling DeepHealth’s platform and products. You will drive technical strategy, architecture decisions, and engineering excellence across multiple teams, ensuring delivery of high-quality, reliable software that supports our mission in health technology.
• Operating as a strategic partner to product, clinical, and business leadership, you will shape the engineering roadmap, cultivate a strong engineering culture, and build scalable systems and teams. You will also recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent, ensuring strong execution and measurable impact on business outcomes.
• Engineering Strategy & Technical Leadership
• · Lead architecture and design decisions for complex, distributed systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
• · Own accountability for engineering delivery, system uptime, and technical debt management across the organization
• · Partner with Product Management to define and execute the product roadmap, translating business requirements into engineering plans
• · Collaborate closely with Clinical, Data Science, and Design teams to shape technically sound and patient-centered solutions
• · Partner with Product, Clinical, and Data Science leaders to align engineering priorities with company strategy and customer needs
• · Communicate technical concepts and trade-offs clearly to non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership and the Board
