Internal Auditor - Operations

Responsibilities

• Perform planning, risk assessment, develop detailed test plans and complete fieldwork for complex audits focused on operations and compliance.
• Support supplier and contract manufacturer audits across Asia, including on-site inventory and operational reviews, as well as construction audits and country audits in the region.
• Apply benchmarked methodology/frameworks to assess end-to-end processes applying a risk-based approach.
• Identify root cause and opportunities for improvement of internal controls and acquire consensus on remediation plans with key business partners.
• Assist in preparing audit deliverables throughout the audit lifecycle, from data analytics and scoping to scheduling and reporting, emphasizing quality, timeliness, and clear recommendations to management.
• Easily adapt between working independently and reciprocally on a team, perform follow-up reviews, and report on the status of action plans to implement internal control improvements derived from internal audit projects.
• Travel 10-15% domestically and internationally.
• What we need to see
• Bachelor’s in finance, accounting or equivalent experience required. Master’s degree or CIA/CISA/CFE/CPA preferred.
• 2+ years of audit experience with hands-on operational audit exposure; backgrounds spanning corporate Internal Audit at established publicly listed multinational corporations and/or the Big 4 are welcome.
