Senior GCP DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect and guide the development of best practices suited for a cloud/on-prem hybrid environment with a focus on cloud
• Devise and enforce organizational policies to maintain project and system alignment
• Use modern technology and practices, including GitOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Deploy and maintain infrastructure components such as VPCs, IAM policies, GKE clusters, KMS, VMs, and DNS
• Optimize costs using FinOps strategies to ensure resource efficiency
• Lead the migration of virtual machines to container-based solutions
• Document processes and changes with excellent detail and clarity while sharing knowledge across the team
• Demonstrate consistent use of Google Cloud Platform within development and operational tasks
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code for scalability and security
• Ensure the smooth operation and management of Kubernetes clusters
