Deep Digital are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer with a proven track record in successfully implementing, optimizing, and maintaining the data integration and historian systems. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of industrial processes, data historian best practices, and a strong ability to lead and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of data historian solutions.
Lead efforts to integrate historian systems with various control systems and third-party applications.
Conduct performance analysis and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Design and configure complex data tags to meet specific project requirements
Develop custom interfaces and connectors to enhance data integration capabilities
Develop and implement advanced security measures to protect historical data.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, taking a lead role in audits and assessments
Investigate and resolve complex issues related to data collection, storage, and retrieval.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers in the team
Maintain comprehensive documentation for all configurations, installations, and troubleshooting procedures.
