Lead SAP HANA Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize SAP HANA native models, such as Calculation Views, CDS Views, Stored Procedures, and SQLScript to support backend data processing and aggregations
• Build and maintain efficient ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from SAP and non-SAP systems, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and other third-party sources
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable data flows and data architectures, enabling robust analytics and operational reporting
• Develop end-to-end data workflows, ensure high data quality while identifying and resolving data discrepancies through monitoring and troubleshooting processes
• Support and enhance business processes with custom analytics, KPI tracking, and actionable insights, all powered by SAP HANA backend solutions
• Optimize data processing performance for large datasets and complex workflows, leverage SAP HANA in-memory database capabilities
• Contribute to cross-team projects by work collaboratively with engineers, business analysts, and solution architects to gather requirements and deliver high-quality, tailored solutions
• Actively participate in Agile (SAFe) workflows, including sprints, planning, and retrospectives, while deliver incremental value to stakeholders
• Document and maintain technical best practices, processes, and knowledge sharing for key SAP HANA solutions
• Translate business processes and requirements into robust technical designs, maintain a holistic view of the end-to-end solution and advise on the impact a solution has in terms of costs, quality, performance, etc
