We're seeking a seasoned Senior/Lead Security Engineer to strengthen the client's security team. This role involves close collaboration with the wider security group, focusing on web application defense and security operations.
Responsibilities
- Set up, refine, and manage WAF rules and policies through Akamai
- Take part in identifying, investigating, and resolving security incidents tied to web application threats
- Perform assessments of WAF setups, security policies, and overall web application security standing
- Detect and evaluate attack patterns, irregularities, and vulnerabilities affecting web applications
- Offer ongoing support to the security team, contributing expertise and recommended practices for web app protection
