How you’ll make an impact (position summary): Curriculum Developers work closely with other subject-matter experts, our production team, and an instructional coach to produce immersive, engaging, and academically rigorous learning materials that constitute the core of our curriculum. These materials include videos, assessments, and written learning activities.
Responsibilities
- Spend a majority of your time designing and developing music educational content (video scripts, assessments, and written materials) for grades 6-12 students
- Ensure content is pedagogically sound, engaging, age-appropriate, and accessible for students
- Write clear and measurable lesson objectives, and align teaching materials to meet objectives
- Use technology, such as Google Slides, Sheets, and Docs
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse student populations and needs
- Continuously evaluate and refine content based on feedback and educational outcomes
- Collaborate with peers on curriculum development
- Give and receive feedback on lessons, course development, and processes
