We are currently seeking experienced Bioinformatics Engineers (4+ years) to join our growing Life Sciences practice. At EPAM, you'll have the opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and science, contributing to cutting-edge solutions in the life sciences domain.
Responsibilities
- Understand scientific problems and propose technical solutions
- Take initiative in leading technical solutions while working independently on complex bioinformatics challenges
- Develop robust bioinformatics solutions and data processing pipelines
- Implement and maintain scientific software applications and tools
- Create and optimize databases for biological data storage and retrieval
- Collaborate with scientists and technical teams to translate scientific requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure code quality and documentation meet industry standards
- Participate in the full SDLC (software development lifecycle)
