We're looking for a Director – Solution Architecture, Financial Services (m/f/d) to join our team in Frankfurt and surrounding areas, Germany in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will define and lead the solution architecture strategy for large-scale financial services programs, spanning core banking modernization, payments infrastructure, capital markets post-trade platforms, regulatory compliance and Gen-AI-driven transformations.

Responsibilities

Define and own the solution architecture vision and roadmap for enterprise-scale financial services engagements
Lead architecture design across applications, integrations and infrastructure ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory guidelines
Drive modernization initiatives through cloud-native designs, microservices and emerging technologies
Collaborate with client executives and EPAM delivery leadership to shape solution proposals and delivery outcomes
Ensure governance for solution architecture during all program phases and mitigate architecture risks
Take ownership of architecture delivery ensuring implementation aligns with solution intent
Enable team productivity by embedding AI-augmented practices to automate repeatable architecture activities
Assess and recommend new technologies including Gen-AI strategies for financial use cases
Guide pre-sales pursuits by driving solution shaping, RFP/RFI responses and executive presentations
