Senior Software Engineer (Java Backend)

Responsibilities

• Core Engineering: Write robust, efficient, and scalable backend code primarily in Java.
• API Architecture
• Design, develop, document, and consume robust REST APIs for seamless integration with internal microservices, frontend apps, and external partners.
• Database Optimization: Write and optimize complex SQL queries using major relational database management systems (e.g., MySQL) to ensure high data integrity and performance at scale.
• Collaboration & Workflow
• Manage version control using Git and GitHub, focusing on clean code history, clear branching/merging practices, and collaborative code reviews.
• System Evolution
• Contribute to modernizing our architecture, helping transition and scale services for peak performance.
