Lead Python Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead a supplier team within the AI Acceleration group, focusing on building and enhancing AI agents and agentic capabilities to support BI's transition to AI Native teams
• Analysis, leverage and improvement of existing AI agents, tools and the customer's frameworks, ensuring alignment with BI and Enterprise needs
• Drive the enhancement of the SAGE (Smart Augmented Quality Engineering) platform, including tuning test-generation and self-healing agents, and development of new agents (e.g., Contract testing agents)
• Automation of high-impact engineering workflows by integrating existing or newly developed AI agents (such as Agile and QE agents)
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams (BI, Enterprise, QE, Agile) to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable AI solutions
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning and high performance
• Ensure best practices in AI engineering, quality assurance and agile methodologies are followed throughout the project lifecycle
• Communicate progress, challenges and solutions to stakeholders, providing technical leadership and strategic direction
• Ownership of the architecture and technical direction of AI/agentic systems, ensuring scalability, reliability and maintainability
• Definition and enforcement of best practices for agent design, orchestration and evaluation
