Senior SQL Database Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining high-performance database solutions based on MS SQL Server. The role requires strong expertise in database architecture, complex SQL development, query optimization, stored procedures, data modeling, ETL processes, reporting, and database performance troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable and reliable database solutions.
  • Develop and optimize complex T-SQL/PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
  • Analyze and optimize query execution plans, indexing, locking, blocking, and deadlocks.
  • Design and optimize relational database structures and data models.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes and data integration solutions.
  • Design data flows from raw source data to trusted, business-consumable datasets.
  • Develop complex datasets and queries for applications, BI, and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot complex database and production performance issues and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Participate in database architecture and technical design decisions.
  • Participate in the planning and estimation of database-related development tasks.
