Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Platform Foundations

Responsibilities

• High Availability & Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) — Enabling continuous regional failover and improving platform resilience.
• Control Plane Automation — Automating operations to improve reliability and developer efficiency.
• Database Performance and Optimization: Our data layer is scaling beyond its current limits. We need someone who can scale it by orders of magnitude while holding the line on latency, reliability, and availability.
• Deployment Plane: As our deploy frequency and engineering headcount both climb, we own redesigning the path from commit to production, drawing on strong infrastructure, deployment tooling, and systems design expertise.
• CI/CD for Control Plane — Building reliable pipelines for safer rollouts, faster iteration, and better test coverage.
