Senior Software Architect, Browser Extension Platform

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical architecture and long-term direction of Keeper’s browser extension platform
• Lead architectural design for complex browser-based features, shared services and cross-platform capabilities
• Design scalable solutions using JavaScript, TypeScript and modern web application technologies
• Guide architecture across Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari and other supported browser environments
• Establish patterns for secure communication between browser extension components, web applications, backend services and native integrations
• Lead technical decisions involving extension lifecycle, background services, content scripts, messaging, storage and browser APIs
• Ensure architectural decisions align with Keeper’s zero-knowledge and zero-trust security principles
• Identify and address performance, memory, reliability and scalability challenges across browser environments
• Guide migration and modernization initiatives as browser extension standards and platform capabilities evolve
• Partner with Product and UX teams to translate complex product requirements into scalable technical designs
