Full-Time Faculty Position in Educational Leadership, Management, and Policy

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach core and specialized courses in the MA program in Education, such as educational leadership, management, and policy, including Educational Leadership, Management, and Organizational Change, Education and Policy, Curriculum and Program Evaluation, and other courses.
• Develop and teach courses in the undergraduate general education program, aligned with the candidate’s expertise.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of the Certificate in Educational Leadership, management, and Policy.
• Supervise and mentor students engaged in practicum placements in schools, government institutions, nonprofit organizations, and other educational settings.
• Advise students on professional development, research projects, and theses.
• Supervise and mentor students completing teaching practicums in schools and other educational settings.
• Develop and maintain relationships with schools, government agencies, NGOs, and other education-sector organizations in Armenia to support practicum experiences, applied research, and professional engagement.
• Engage actively in research in educational leadership, policy, administration, organizational change, or related areas, with an expectation of producing peer-reviewed scholarly work in leading international journals.
• Conduct and/or contribute to applied research addressing educational challenges in Armenia and internationally.
• Contribute to curriculum and program development as the MA in Education grows and develops toward a broader Education Department at AUA.
