We are looking for a Senior Python MCP Engineer to join our team building an Enterprise Agent Development Platform — a production-grade, cloud-native ecosystem that enables engineering teams to define, orchestrate, deploy, and observe AI agents at scale. The platform standardizes agent development across the organization using LangGraph and Strands Agents on AWS AgentCore Runtime, providing a single-file developer experience where the platform handles runtime, tooling, observability, and deployment automatically.

Responsibilities

Implement MCP server templates to standardize enterprise agent development
Onboard the first enterprise MCP servers onto the platform
Design and build server-side MCP protocol implementations
Develop Python-based services using FastMCP, asyncio, and Pydantic
Deploy and manage integrations through AWS Lambda and API Gateway
Establish observability pipelines using OpenTelemetry for traces, metrics, and logs
Apply container security baseline standards across MCP server deployments
Collaborate with platform teams on runtime architecture and CI/CD automation
